Darius Sanai

Editor-in-Chief

Darius Sanai is Editor-in-Chief at Conde Nast Contract Publishing, as well as the Editor-in-Chief of LUX, and has his own company which consults luxury brands. After starting his own magazine while at Oxford University, he started his journalistic career as a foreign correspondent, travelling and writing dispatches for The Independent and The Guardian from South Africa. He then dabbled in television reporting for BBC World before escaping into magazines and eventually seeking solace at Conde Nast, where he edited a number of luxury publications before taking up his current role and writes regularly for GQ magazine.

Guy Fiorita

Editor-in-Chief (KOP)

Guy Fiorita has been editor of LUX since the second issue of the magazine. Before taking on this project Guy published a tri-lingual guide to island of Mallorca while also serving as a freelance travel writer for numerous international publications. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin, Guy began his career travelling 10 months a year researching and writing supplements for the Washington Post Sunday Magazine. This three year nomadic experience allowed him to live and work in many countries around the world before eventually settling in Spain. Apart from Lux, Guy is editor of various other publications and partner in the firm Ager-Fiorita Contract Publishing.

Xavi Roig

Art Director

Xavier Roig is a freelance creative director and since 2007 the founder of Miscellaneous Studio in Barcelona which specialises in editorial design, advertising, corporate branding and web design. Before opening his own studio Xavi was art director of Unomasunostudio. He has worked for numerous national and international clients such as Pirelli, Stradivarius, Cepsa, Havas, Barcelona Town Hall, Instituto Cervantes, Grupo Planeta, Futbol Club Barcelona, Zodiac, Estrella Damm, Fundació Antoni Tàpies and Marlborough Gallery to name just a few.

Anton Kilayko

Publisher

Anton has more than 12 years of experience in Branding, Marketing and Public Relations. Most recently, he oversaw the concept development and strategic positioning of a new luxury hotel brand by Dusit International in Thailand. Prior to that, he held several senior management positions with The Ritz- Carlton and Orient-Express. Anton, currently oversees KOP Hotels & Resorts and LUX Legion’s efforts in Sales, Marketing and Business Strategy.

Erica Wong

Brand Manager

Erica is a native Montrealer with over eight years experience in the fields of luxury and travel. Following a management degree at McGill University, Erica was responsible for Business Development at Quintessentially Beijing and Hong Kong and most recently held the position of Global Sales Manager at LUXE City Guides. She speaks English, French, Mandarin and Cantonese – and is now slowly picking up Singlish!

Evelyn Yo

Marketing Director

With over ten years of luxury hospitality and retail marketing experience, Evelyn began her career in marketing when she joined The Ritz-Carlton hotel in Singapore. During her eight year tenure, she spearheaded all marketing, media relations and crisis communications efforts of the 608 room hotel and was Director of Public Relations. The same role within the company took her to Qatar where she spent a year gaining valuable insight to the Middle East. Returning home to Singapore, she switched to retail marketing and was involved in the branding and marketing of LEVIEV diamonds, Scavia jewellery and luxury Swiss watches. A graduate of the National Institute of Education in Singapore, Evelyn taught English, Math and Science in a primary school, before perusing an advanced diploma in mass communications and finding her true calling in hospitality marketing. Now, at KOP Hotels and Resorts, she handles all marketing and media activities for the division.

Kostas Ioannidis

Sales Director

Kostas studied Business Studies at South Bank University in London, speaks fluent Greek and English and has 15 years of Hotel Sales and Business Development experience. Kostas has held key sales positions within Hilton Hotels in London as well as Singapore and previous to that, he worked as Key Account Director within Global Sales at the Intercontinental Hotels Group.
